Wow! We can’t believe our fulltime RV life is hitting the six-month mark. The lessons we’ve learned are numerous and reach from technical trailer stuff to relationship growth. We’ll post a few of those lessons and tips over the next few weeks.
Today we’re headed to New Orleans to enjoy a sunny weekend and then we’ll land in our hometown (Fairhope, Alabama) to visit friends and family before we begin our summer adventures.
One of the first lessons we learned is that traveling fast wears us out. During our first month we moved from Alabama to California! After that haul, we slowed down and spent the entire winter in the southwest. Over the last month we’ve moved more quickly than we prefer in order to reposition ourselves for the summer.
Here’s our complete travel log of the first six months (linked with corresponding videos & blog posts)!
