Country Lane RV Resort – Kingston, Idaho

As we left Glacier National Park and headed west toward Washington’s coast, we wanted to find a stop-over for a few days. Country Lane RV Resort was a great choice; it’s located just off I-90 on the Coeur d’Alene river.

Here’s the Breakdown:

Location: Kingston, ID

GPS: 47.63032, -116.19329

Date/Temp: We camped at Country Lane for three nights in mid August. The highs were in the high 80s and the lows were in the mid 50s.

Amenities: The park’s main attraction is its beautiful river front access; it’s perfect for tubing and catching some rays. Country Lane Resort also features an indoor & outdoor bar, a restaurant with patio dining, and live music during the summer weekends. Our water-front site had water & electric hookups. They offer full hookup sites as well – but, not with water-front views.

Wifi/Cell: Country Lane doesn’t provide public wifi and cell service here is pretty spotty. We were able to get solid AT&T 3G access with our WeBoost, but the cell data was very slow moving.

Noise: We camped here during the week and it was very quiet. The weekend’s seem to be when the real fun begins – you can expect a fun crowd and live tunes!

Grocery/Errands: We ran into town to stop by the Post Office; it was an easy 15 minute trip. There isn’t much in Kingston in terms of grocery shopping. The park has a store that carries all the necessities for a good time.

Dog Friendly: Country Lane is dog friendly and River would agree. She enjoyed playing fetch and laying in the grass. There were other dogs here – most of the were leashed.

Entertainment: We recommend Country Lane Resort for a weekend camping trip with friends. All the entertainment you’ll need is located right on the park grounds. Live music, tubing, multiple bars, sun bathing, and eating food on the patio will definitely make for a good weekend.
