Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, California

After a wonderful (and busy) holiday weekend in Los Angeles, we were ready for a little R&R. Flying Flags RV Resort looked like the perfect place to do it!

The resort is located in Buellton (California) – home to many of the areas best vineyards. It can accommodate any size rig and has pull though sites, back in sites, vintage camper rentals and cabins.

We absolutely loved this property… but, don’t just take our word. Check out the reviews on Campendium, Yelp & RVParkReviews!

Here’s the Breakdown:

Location: Buellton, California

GPS34.6111, -120.1934

Date / Temp: We camped here for a week in late November. The highs were in the 70s with lows in the 40s. The weather was very comfortable!

Amenities: This resort offers the BEST amenities we’ve ever seen at an RV Resort. There are multiple pools & hot tubs with plentiful poolside seating. We also enjoyed the dog park, soccer field, basketball court and fitness room. The laundry facility is very modern, offering credit card payment along with the coin operated function.

All the amenities are thoughtfully placed and crafted with quality.

Wifi / Cell: We received a 4G LTE signal with both AT&T and T-Mobile (using our WeBoost Cell Booster). The speeds were only OK.  Thankfully the resort had free internet that was fast enough for streaming.

Noise: The spaces are situated pretty close to each other, but we never noticed it being overly loud or noisy. This is a family friendly park – so daytime activities are common – but nighttime noise was never an issue.

Grocery / Errands: Many gas stations & stores are within a two mile radius. And, within 20 miles, you can find many big box stores.

Dog Friendly: The resort is dog friendly. There is a large, fenced-in dog park and doggy waste station throughout the grounds.

Entertainment: We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tubs! But, after that, a vineyard trip to Los Olivos was super fun. We also liked the nearby town of Solvang – known for its Danish influences and wine tasting.
