Autumn is finally here for RV life! We don’t have much of a fall season here on the Gulf Coast, it just goes from bright green to brown. The weather also leaves much to be desired, so I’m dreaming of golden aspens and cozy sweaters!
This time of year is a magical time for RVers the weather is perfect, you cant be at exactly the right place at the right time to see the leaves change. Its great for campfires and new friendships, and you get to decorate too! When we finish our Airstream Argosy renovation we’ll be right there with you! In the meantime, I compiled a list of some of my favorite Fall items to have on the road.
1. Outland Living Propane Fire Pit
The Outland Fire Bowl shows up in our RV life favorites lists over and over again and for good reason. Its portable, convenient, easy to use and theres no smoke!
It’s self contained and doesn’t produce sparks, so its usually allowed in areas with burn bans. We love to pull ours out when friends come over to sit and talk under the stars.
Many warm nights and happy memories have been created around this campfire.
2. Telescoping Marshmallow/ Hotdog Forks
Whats more nostalgic than roasting marshmallows and cooking hot dogs over an open fire? These are great because they extend to 34″ and even have a rotating handle. Fancy right?
They’re easy to clean up and don’t take much room to store. There really is no age limit to loving a good s’more! See what I did there…
3. LED Solar String Lights for RV life
These solar powered LED lights are great for decorating year round. You can put them in a vase for a fun centerpiece, attach them to the awning, put them in a jack-o-lantern, and get in the holiday spirit!
Since there isn’t always an outlet nearby, these solar lights are ready to go wherever you put them. They charge during the day and come on at night!
Theres so many different styles to choose from too.
4. Essential Oil Diffuser
I love aromatherapy and a diffuser is a must in our camper! Traditional candles often give me a headache in such a small space, so this is a great way to liven up RV life in whatever scent fits my mood!
You can even create your own blends this fall with scents like cinnamon, cardamom, clove and ginger!
This pineapple shaped diffuser is really calling my name for some reason.
5. RV Life Cozy Throw Blanket
Throws are fun ways to add new colors and textures to a space and obviously bundling up on the couch! We really like the styles at The Citizenry and appreciate their investment in artisan entrepreneurs and their communities.
If you want a beautiful one of a kind quilt that was handmade in an Airstream studio, you should check out Vacilando Quilting Co.
Her work is absolutely stunning and we dream of owning one of her pieces one day!
6. Audible Subscription
We have found ourselves really enjoying a good audio book recently. I love a good solid book in my hands, but the reality is I can never find the time to sit down and dedicate to reading these days.
We love that we can put on an audiobook and continue our daily tasks. Kyle’s favorite way to listen is during an early morning walk or on a long drive. I enjoy listening while I’m cooking dinner and before bed.
We have completed so many books in such a short time. I love that we’re spending more time learning and expanding our minds. I just wish we had gotten our Audible Subscription sooner!
7. Insulated Mug
I’m looking forward to hot tea, cocoa and cider to get through the chilly days ahead. Hopefully you have a super cute camper mug on hand, but if not heres a great insulated mug to keep your beverage of choice nice and warm. RV life is best with a warm drink!
8. RV Life Autumn Playlist
We have a playlist for every occasion. Listening to one of our old playlists never fails to bring us right back to a specific time and place.
We use Spotify to create our playlists and we often discover tons of great new music on our Discover Weekly. When we hear a great new song we add it to our latest playlist.
Heres some inspiration for your Fall playlists, including our own original music!
9. Favorite Sweatshirt
If you’re like me, you’ve been anxiously waiting for the first signs of fall to pull out your favorite sweatshirt. I love bundling up in a comfy sweatshirt on cold mornings in the RV and on chilly nights by the fire.
We’re partial to our Vibe Tribe hoodies so we can represent the Vibe Tribe and spread good vibes to all we meet!
