Moab KOA is an extremely popular spot for all kinds of travelers. They have RV sites for small and big rigs alike. Tent Camping and Cabin Rentals line the north end of the campground.

Keep in mind – Moab is a popular destination and you’ll most likely need to plan your campground months in advance.

Location: Moab, Utah
GPS: 38.5244, -109.4959
Date / Temp: We camped at Moab KOA for 7 nights in early October and the temps were mild with daytime highs in the 70s and nights in the 40s. But, summertime temps can be outrageously hot.
Amenities: The Moab KOA offers full hookup sites, tent camping and cabins. Along with standard KOA features like a pool, playground and general store; the Moab KOA also offers a bike repair & cleaning station for cycling enthusiasts.
Wifi / Cell: We received a strong 4G LTE signal with both AT&T and T-Mobile. The park has free wifi as well and it is actually quite fast & reliable. We were able to stream with it and complete all of our online tasks.
Noise: Even after Labor Day, this park was slammin’ busy. The noise level during the day was loud with activities, but after dark it was pretty quiet.
Grocery / Errands: Downtown Moab is only a mile away. It offers two grocers, lots of gas stations, a tourism center and post office. We were able to complete all of our errands easily and quickly.

Dog Friendly: This park is dog friendly. There’s a lot of room to walk our pup around the park and to play fetch at our site. They also offer an off leash dog park with two sections for large & small dogs.
Entertainment: Arches & Canyonlands are the area’s big attractions. There are countless hikes, off road trails, water activities and petroglyphs to explore. Downtown Moab also offers many eating & drinking options.
