Why You’ll Love It: This RV resort is all about the beach vibes. It’s tucked up against natural sand dunes, allowing nature’s landscaping to take precedence over trimmed shrubs.

There’s a pool and hot tub onsite for easy chill time. However, if you want to stroll the beach instead, the resort has a boardwalk for easy access. Once you score that big catch, there’s a fish cleaning station as well.

The prices are based on seasons. If you plan your trip accordingly you can save about 15% off the premium rates. Here’s a complete rate list.

On The Beach RV Park

Price: Current Rates

Why You’ll Love It: The name doesn’t lie – this RV park is right on the beach. In fact they are the closest RV park to the beach in all of Port Aransas. One of the cool facts about On The Beach RV Park is that they’ve been hosting campers on Mustang Island sin 1974.

This is an active park – during the winter months they have movie nights, mixers and community dinners.

Fishing, birdwatching and boating are among the popular activities of their guests. We’d love to take our foldable, tandem kayak for a spin from the beautiful beach.

Port Aransas RV Parks Vibe: 9.5/10 I’m all in on the old-school hospitality of this RV park!

  1. While not fancy, the county RV lot is right on the public beach road (behind a sand dune). To drive on the beach here you need to buy an annual beach parking pass for $12. It is so awesome to wake up and go for a beach walk without having to get into your car and then try to find a pace to park. Weekly rates were around $200+.
