Hotel Luna Mystica offers multiple vintage Airstream trailers. All the trailers have been beautifully restored to maintain the original style.

Why You’ll Love It: It’s got those bohemian vibes! Marfa, Texas is a funky desert town, and El Cosmic is a perfect representation of that funk.
They have multiple trailers available. However, you can’t specifically book an Airstream online. Give them a call for specific Airstream requests.
The hotel hosts many activities; themed appropriately weird! Cosmic Karaoke, Hot Dogs & Corn Hole, and Big Sky Yoga are among their upcoming events.
What’s The Word: Kate on Google Reviews says, “Loved our stay here. Cute modern hippie vibe. Lots of cool (but expensive) things in the gift shop. Bed in our trailer was extremely comfortable. Loved the newsletter they print with lots of helpful art gallery and restaurant recommendations. Right next to the Chinati foundation and walking distance of the galleries and restaurants in town.”

Hicksville Trailer Plaza and Artist Retreat

Why You’ll Love It: This quirky Airstream hotel is a true artist retreat. The founders, both professional creatives, have built a space that inspires with equal doses of nostalgia and comfort.
There’s even a recording studio on site!
Hicksville Trailer Plaza offers some modern amenities including; solar heated saltwater pool, archery & bb gun range, mini golf and a bar trailer for events.
Keep in mind, the park is 21+ due to its cannabis friendly policy. They have two “family weeks” each year, allowing all the kids to visit!
What’s The Word: Ivy on Yelp says, “I really liked staying here and want to come back! They don’t do things like a regular hotel or anything.. BUT it is a really cool place and it is probably that way because they have these strict rules.. it is pretty neat how it is very private and off the grid… you feel like you are really in the middle of nowhere and no one knows where you are… We stayed in the zombie room which was nice and cozy… kind of scary..”

Thanks for this great info, Kyle and Olivia! I also wanted to let you know about another “vintage” campground and this one’s in my home state of Colorado, which I know you love. (o; It’s called Star Lite Campground and it’s in Canon City, CO. I have not yet been there but it looks super “vibey” and fun. I just noticed when I pulled up their website that the owners are now doing 30 day stays or longer only. I called and spoke with the owner, Sylvia, who confirmed that that’s correct, so it obviously wouldn’t be a good fit for everyone. Here’s the link in case you or anyone else is interested. That area of Colorado is super pretty, as is most of our state! (o; Sending big RV love to you, Nora and River from a big fan of yours!
