Why You’ll Love It: This is an Encore RV Park, which means if you’re a Thousand Trails member, you’ll save money at this park (pay a lower nightly rate). Fear not, everyone is allowed to camp here, and the base price is still reasonable considering all the amenities.

Sunseekers RV Park offers a swimming pool, shuffle ball courts, outdoor games, laundry facility, wifi and is pet friendly.

What’s The Word: A recent review on Campground Reviews says, “The owners/staff could not have been more accommodating…Most of the residents are winter snowbirds who have been coming there for years. Everyone is very friendly.”

Fort Myers RV Parks Vibe: 6.9/10 Great for Thousand Trail members, pretty good for anyone else.

Fort Myers / Pine Island KOA

Price: $74 and up

Why You’ll Love It: KOAs are known for their RV park amenities. You’ll find so many things to do onsite at Fort Myers KOA. There’s a pool, hot tub, dog park, fishing and wifi within the park.

This RV park is also great for group & club camping experiences.

They offer cabin rentals just in case you have additional guests that need accommodations.

What’s The Word: John on Campground Reviews says, “This was a very nice park with all the amenities we usually take advantage of. The staff were very friendly and the store was well-stocked. There were many open spaces (in the middle of April) so our neighbors were far away and it was quiet.”

What’s The Word: Dale on Campground Reviews says, “Very clean class A park. Large paved lots overlooking a lake. an awesome pool and patio area. Many amenities pickle ball, fitness room, hot tub and most important to me was the large fenced in area for dog parks . One for small dogs and the other for the larger dogs. I would definitely recommend this park. 10 miles down the road, major stores and restaurants”

The WiFi worked pretty well although not fast. The staff was extremely friendly. The facilities appeared well maintained and very clean. The campground was big rig friendly with no tight turns. The amenities include free wifi, heated swimming pool, exercise room, dog park and nature trail. The location is also good. You’ll be pretty close to the beaches, but away from the traffic.

What’s The Word: BB on Campground Reviews says, “Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff to assist us in parking our class A coach, who never left until we where all hooked up. This doesn’t always happen across the country. We enjoyed all the activities at the club house, and the full time resident’s get-togethers, which also included seasonal campers. The pool was amazing and we also enjoyed the pool side parties!”

Why You’ll Love It: Raintree RV Resort is a very well maintained park that boasts numerous daily community events. They offer heated pools & spas. Additionally, many outdoor sporting courts are available!

What’s The Word: Vicki on Campground Reviews says, “This is a very nice 55+ park. They do allow pets, but are very restrictive on where you can walk. Only around your site, or outside of the park. Our dog did not like this park! You must drive your dog to the outside of the park if you want to do any walking. The management was very nice, and escorted us to our site, and even assisted in backing us up.”

What’s The Word: A reviewer on Campground Reviews says, “Great location. We will stay here again – and often. The park itself is a bit tight but very adequate. The management is excellent and the park well kept. We would have stayed longer and will next time. It’s a great base camp to visit Fort Myers. The road is narrow but adequate.”
