These RV Parks Do Glamping Right

These RV Parks Do Glamping Right

RV parks know all about camping, but very few do glamping right.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term glamping, it’s short for glamorous camping and it usually takes place in a yurt, vintage trailer or rustic cabin.

Today we’re sharing some of the best glamping spots in America. Not only do these RV parks offer unique camping experiences, they’re also prime back drops for your Instagram pics!

Let’s dive in.

Flying Flags RV Resort | Buellton, California

Flying Flags RV Resort is located in California wine country. The park offers multiple vintage Airstream rentals and luxury cabins.

The resort’s “community space” includes a huge propane fire pit with lots of ambiance and hosts a weekly outdoor movie night! The multiple swimming pools have private cabanas, hot tubs and play areas for the kids.

If you want to take your glamping to the next level, Flying Flags is a great place to visit.

La Siesta Campground | Arivaca, Arizona

If rest & relaxation is your goal, La Siesta is the perfect place to spend a long weekend. They offer fully-restored vintage campers available to rent. They even have luxury glamping tents with queen-size beds!

Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge is located a mile away. It offers many hiking trails to explore.

Downtown Arivaca’s history and charm also lend itself to exploration. Within a 40 mile radius there are historic towns, missions, and parks for day-trip outings.

El Cosmico | Marfa, Texas

El Cosmico has those bohemian vibes perfect for instagram! Marfa, Texas is a funky desert town, and this RV park is a perfect representation of that funk.

They have multiple vintage trailers available. The parks recommends you call ahead if you have a specific vintage RV request.

The “trailer hotel” hosts many activities; themed appropriately weird! Cosmic Karaoke, Hot Dogs & Corn Hole, and Big Sky Yoga are among their upcoming events.

Enchanted Trails RV Park | Albuquerque, New Mexico

Route 66 is the perfect place to take a glamping trip!

Enchanted Trails RV Park offers many fully restored vintage campers for rent. Here’s the best part – all the decor is truly vintage, too! You’ll get all the best vintage-glamping vibes here.

The club house offers a laundry facility, rec room, bathrooms with showers and many Route 66 relics. There is a pool located at the front of the park – this was a welcomed amenity!

Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Resort | Borrego Springs, California

Palm Canyon has it all! The offer vintage Airstream rentals, cabin rentals and traditional RV sites.

You’ll thoroughly enjoyed the pool & hot tub. There’s also a coffee shop, restaurant & bar onsite. There’s also some bars and restaurants in town. Our favorite day-trip was a 30 mile drive up to Julian – a historic mining town sitting at 4000ft elevation. They’re known for their local apple pies & cider!
