9 Best Things To Do in Lake Havasu, Arizona

If you’re looking for things to do in Lake Havasu, Arizona, this is the place for you!

Over the last five years, my wife and I have been traveling the USA full time in our vintage Airstream. We’ve found that Arizona is a great winter travel destination. Lake Havasu is our go-to spot to beat the cold weather.

The city has it all; lots of nature, great shopping, beer, wine, and ATV activities.

Today we’re sharing the best of what’s around.

Let’s dive in!

Is Lake Havasu Expensive?

In terms of a tourist hot spot, Lake Havasu is relatively inexpensive. You will be paying more for hotels than the surrounding towns.

However, if you’re visiting from California, the prices will seem pretty low.

London Bridge

Price: Free

Why You’ll Love It: Yes, there is an actual London Bridge in Lake Havasu City. This bridge was originally established sometime between 1176 – 1209. Over the years it began to sink in the mud and with the arrival of heavier vehicles, it didn’t help.

So, in an attempt to recover losses a London Council put the bridge up for sale which was bought and placed in Lake Havasu City. Much safer now, it’s a must-see thing to do in Lake Havasu City.

Address: 1340 McCulloch Blvd, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403

What’s the Word: A recent review on Google said, “Very cool piece of English history and craftsmanship. I am glad I got to see and walk over this bridge. Lake Havasu City is also a great steward for the bridge.”
