This Huge RV Manufacturer Owns Over 20 Different Brands

When you start shopping for campers, you see a lot of brand names. What you may not realize is that many of these brands are made by one parent company, Forest River.

Forest River is one of the biggest RV manufacturers in the world.

Since 1996, the company produces Class A and C motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels, toy haulers, campers, and other trailers. They have facilities in the midwest and on the west coast.

A division of Berkshire Hathoway, the company strives to make quality “homes away from home” no matter what your camping vision or family situation desires.

RV Brands Owned By Forest River

Aurora 

This is a travel trailer line that has a family-friendly feel and great features at a mid-range price point. There are 18-foot models to 34-foot sizes, from no slide out to multiple. The 18BH has bunks, while the 18RB has a spacious walk-around bed and rear bath for a couple and a booth that can make into a bed. In the larger units, multiple floor plans suit from a bunkhouse to a large couple’s trailer. There is even a trailer with two separate queen bedrooms. The smaller trailer weighs only 3350 unloaded pounds!

Berkshire by Forest River

The Berkshire by Forest River is a high-end diesel coach. With three models to chose from, the Berkshire, Berkshire XL, and the XLT levels, the Berkshire is a high-end luxury living experience in a motorized coach with hardwood cabinets, every luxury imaginable in the bathroom and kitchen, and a high-end Cummins engine.

Cardinal

The Cardinal is a 5th wheel line, and one of the longest standing in the country. There are floor plans that sleep from 2-8, and many features from auto-level and auto-slide outs, pass-through storage, and more. 

Cedar Creek

This line of 5th wheels is dedicated to rugged outdoor adventure with heavy-duty builds suited for rough road conditions, and more insulation and extreme temperature features to keep you comfortable in less than ideal climates.

Flagstaff

This lineup has travel trailers and 5th wheel models with open floor plans and spacious storage. Floor plans include models with walk-around beds, bunks, island kitchens, rearview windows, and more.

Evo 

Evo trailers are simple units with sizes from 18 to 32 feet, some with slides. Most floorplans have walk-around queen beds, and there are bunk and dinette options as well.

Forester

Class C motorhomes. 14 floor plans, many with slideouts, to choose from, and all Foresters are “Certified Green” by TRA.

FR3

This crossover GAS Class A motorhome series is easy to drive and has a ton of space. Ease of driving like a Class C, with Class A styling. 30-34 feet with 4 layouts all with walkaround King beds.

Rockwood

These small pop up and hard-sided campers are made for active lifestyles and smaller towing vehicles. Geo Pro series are set up for solar, and have water miser systems for off-grid use.

Georgetown

Gas Class A Motorhomes that are engineered for the road and designed for the driver. All of the luxuries you would expect in a high-end motorcoach. 31-36 lengths and 9 floorplans to choose from within 3 trim levels.

Salem

This line of trailers and 5th wheels has something for almost everyone from the cruise lite entry-level trailers that have features usually only found in higher-end models, to the Salem hemisphere trailers and 5th wheels that have luxury fabrics and rich wood tones, the Salem has a wide variety of floor plans and options with high value for the price.

Ibex

The Ibex line of trailers has 8 floor plans, four are under 5,000 pounds, and the other four are under 7,000 pounds. This line is lighter weight for SUV and small trucks, but offer a larger fridge, solar system, inverter, cold weather package and more.

Impression

These are mid-profile 5th wheel trailers with comfort and quality craftsmanship.  Open floor plans, high end amenities and style.24-32 feet, with a 6 floorplans all with walk around beds and slideouts.

Independence Trail

These light weight trailers don’t compromise on space or features. With bunkhouse and couple floorplans, each model was designed to offer great value at an economical price. From 17-28 feet.

No Boundaries

These extreme light weight trailers are rugged and versatile, towable by 4 and 6 cylinder tow vehicles. Adaptable storage for bikes, kayaks, surfboards, SUPs, skis and fishing equipment.

Ozark

Riverstone

    Forest River also makes Coachmen/Apex, several models.

    Thor is possibly the largest supplier with their own line, Airstream, Jayco, Dutchman, Starrett and others.
