Why You’ll Love It: This KOA was recently renovated and offers great southern charm. It has 105 sites, a small swimming pool (seasonally), a Kamp K9 Pet Park and free WiFi. They also have a shuttle that can take you to Downtown Nashville.

What’s The Word: On Campgroundreview.com, W5CI, “Stayed overnight…very friendly courteous staff both at check in and also when guided to our site. This is the most expensive park we have ever stayed in.”

Nashville KOA

Price: Prices vary starting at $70 and go up to $120 per night according to the Nashville KOA website.

Miles to Downtown: It’s 12.2 miles (20 minutes) to Downtown Nashville. Less than three miles from the Grand Ole Opry.

Why You’ll Love It: There are 389 sites with many having special amenities like patios and fire pits. Other amenities for the campground are activity park, gym, conference center, planned activities, Kamp K9 Dog Park, pool, hot tub and more.

What’s The Word: Joe Mazz said on Campgroundreviews.com that this was, “Quite possibly the nicest KOA I’ve ever camped at. Had a pull through patio site with private dog run. Just beautiful. Lots to do for kids; great pool, showers were nice as well.”

Safe Harbor RV Resort

Price: Prices start at $75 per night for a standard inland site and go up to $116 per night for deluxe waterfront site at Safe Harbor RV Resort.

Miles to Downtown: It is 13.3 miles (18 minutes) to Downtown Nashville.

Why You’ll Love It: The campground is on a peninsula on Percy Priest Lake. There is a beach, boating area and an outdoor pool. With 131 full hookup sites, there is a site perfect for you. They also have kayak, paddleboard and boat rentals.

What’s The Word: BBQ Man from Tennessee reported on Campgroundreviews.com that it was an “Excellent campground… All concrete pads with full hookups makes it an enjoyable experience. Beautiful sunrises over Percy Priest Lake. The pool is enjoyable and the bath house and laundry rooms are clean.”

Two Rivers Campground

Price: Summer rates are from $56.81 per night to $67.74 per night depending on electric amps needed. Two Rivers Campground offers a Good Sam Club discount.

Why You’ll Love It: You’ll love it for the shuttle services that runs every hour to downtown, and the helpful staff that will help you plan what to see in Nashville. This is arguably one of the most relaxing RV parks in Nashville!

What’s The Word: Tracy Todd said on Campgroundreviews.com that, “This was a nice basic campground. It had a pool that looked nice. We were pleased with our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.” 

Nashville, TN RV Park Vibe: 8/10

Nashville RV Resort and Cabins (formerly Jellystone Park)

Price: Prices range from $51 per night to $86 per night at Nashville RV Resort and Cabins.

Miles to Downtown: It’s 11.7 miles (18 minutes) to Downtown Nashville.

Why You’ll Love It: Although it no longer has the Jellystone theme, Nashville RV Resort and Cabins has all of the great amenities still on site. The pool is enormous, they have inflatables for the kids, mini golf and planned activities. This is one of the best RV parks in Nashville for families, no doubt.

What’s The Word: Bennie on Campendium says: “Very nice campground. Everything is close to town and the grand old Opry is right down the street.” – Can’t beat that!

The Fairgrounds Nashville RV Camping

Price: $35 per night in a parking lot located on The Fairgrounds Nashville.

Miles to Downtown: It’s 3.8 miles and only 9 minutes to get to Downtown Nashville.

Why You’ll Love It: The price is the best part about this spot. If you’re looking for a budget place to stay in Nashville, you’ll love this no frills place to spend the night!

What’s The Word: WendyonWheels on Campground Reviews says: “Convienent to downtown and Belmont. Works out well for stay. It is not glamorous views, but works out very well.”

Seven Points Campground

Why You’ll Love It: It’s on the lake with many opportunities to boat, swim, fish and catch some rays. There is a laundry facility, showers and flush toilets.

What’s The Word: Nan Griff said on CampgroundReviews.com, “This is our new favorite! Such a gorgeous park. The lake is spectacular for boating, paddle sports, swimming and fishing. Our site was very long, and large! The sites are spacious and shaded. We were across the road from the lake, but still with gorgeous views (and oh the sunsets!).”
