What’s The Word: James gave it five stars on Google with this description: “Large, clean, level pull-through with good free WiFi. Very friendly staff and professional.
Nice and quiet. Well done newer park. Large, family friendly and pet friendly. Good water.” Another reviewer, Michael, mentioned that he was running late, and the owners called to check and make sure he was okay.

It’s right off Interstate 20 and certainly is a unique experience that the kids will love! (It’s going to be sandy, though, especially if the winds are high.) The campground is paved but lacks sewer, and cell connectivity is definitely on the low side.
What’s The Word: “Nice campground amidst the sand dunes,” says Terry his Google review. WatsonsWander gave this report on Campendium: “We stumbled upon this park while driving through the middle of nowhere Texas.
All we wanted was an easy place to spend a single night and we got even more than we had hoped. … While I wouldn’t say this is a destination state park where you would want to spend a whole week, for a single night it was pretty fantastic!”

What’s The Word: In her Google review, Grace called her experience here “exceptional.” The owners “truly care about their visitors & treat you as lifelong friends! They are over the top accommodating & professional.”
