About the Fairhope Music Festival

The Fairhope Musical festival is three days of outdoor concerts featuring 10+ bands playing soulful and funky music. The festival will be held on October 29, 30, and 31 this year.

All weekend, attendees can eat from local organic food trucks, play games, and explore the kids’ area. In addition, you can do a little shopping with local vendors.

Proceeds from the event benefit the American Legion Post 199.

Where Is the Fairhope Music Festival?

The Fairhope Music Festival has two different outdoor venues.

The first venue is only for Friday, October 29, collaborating with the Fairhope “Live at 5” Concert Series. Friday’s live performances are at The Halstead Amphitheater in the Coastal Alabama Community College in Downtown Fairhope.

Location: 440 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama 36532

The second venue, Weeks Bay Plantation, is for performances on Days 2 and 3 (Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31.) The plantation, located twenty minutes south of Fairhope, is an organic farm specializing in growing blueberries.

Location: 12562 Mary Ann Beach Rd, Fairhope, Alabama 36532

Who’s Playing at the 2021 Fairhope Music Festival?

This year’s festival has both local and national performers, from acoustic folk to rock and roll.

The festival initially kicks off on Friday night with the sounds of Flow Tribe and Anders Osborne.

Then, the festival’s second day starts midday at the farm with performers on two stages. Saturday features Will Kimbrough Band, JD Simo, Cha Wa, The Soul Rebels, George Porter Jr, and Ross Newell.

Lastly, stick around for Sunday to close out the weekend with Red & The Revelers, Telluride, and The Red Clay Strays.

How Do I Buy Tickets for the Fairhope Music Festival?

Tickets are on sale now. You’ll need to purchase tickets for the first day of the festival in downtown Fairhope separately. Days 2 and 3 at the farm are covered on another ticket.

Pro Tip: You can purchase Saturday and Sunday tickets at the gate if they haven’t sold out, but we recommend buying tickets online to guarantee admission.

Best Trails Near the Fairhope Music Festival

If you want a break from the festival to burn off some food truck calories, take a walk on the Kurt G Wintermeyer Trail and Eastern Shore Trail.

Kurt G Wintermeyer Trail

Located a short 5-minute drive from Weeks Bay Plantation, Kurt G Wintermeyer Trail is a 0.8-mile path along a boardwalk. The trail is in Weeks Bay Pitcher Plant Bog and starts as a loop in a clearing. It then continues into the woods until it reaches Fish River. Enjoy the easy walk and all the pitcher plants along the way.

In Fairhope, the trail passes by the welcome center, shops, restaurants, museums, galleries, and the Fairhope Pier and waterfront park.

Keep in mind that this is not a nature trail but a city walking, jogging, and cycling path that follows Alternate Route 98 straight through town.
