What Is the Yorktown Memorial Hospital?
The Felician Sisters of the Roman Catholic Church established Yorktown Memorial Hospital in 1950. This sisterhood still exists today.
They named the hospital in honor of the soldiers who fought and died in WWII. It opened its doors in 1951 and remained in service until 1986. Then, a new hospital opened a few miles away, putting the Yorktown Memorial out of business. It reopened for a few years as a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center but soon closed its doors for good.

You can take a tour if you dare. You must make reservations to visit the Yorktown Memorial Hospital, though. Inside, you’ll find dolls, trash, hospital equipment, and more. Nothing has changed in decades.
You can visit the chapel, basement, and main floor on a guided tour. Trespassing is strictly forbidden.
How to Book a Tour
Yorktown Memorial Hospital tours operate from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., but you can arrange for an overnight investigation as well.
News channels have sent reporters, paranormal activity hunters have stayed there, and others who want to capture the sights and sounds of this haunted place have attempted to spend the night.
Guided walking tours cost $25 per person and last for at least an hour. The overnight investigations cost $500 for up to 10 people.
