Romantic Vineyard in Canton, Ohio

Gervasi Vineyard is a Tuscan-style getaway tucked away in Canton, Ohio. The estate is on 55 acres with two lakes, swans, a wooden footbridge, walking paths, and trails.

The vineyard has various accommodations, but we recommend The Villas. Each villa has four luxurious suites with fireplaces, heated travertine floors, and Tuscan-inspired decor with plush linens.

Nature surrounds Gervasi, plus you can enjoy onsite concerts or wine and spirit tours. You can even take a cooking course at The Cucina. Sign up for a cooking demo, enjoy a meal, and take home a recipe packet to create your own delicious meals at home.

If your idea of romance includes golf, staying at Gervasi Vineyard gives you access to Glenmoor Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. After hitting the links, head to The Piassa patio for local cuisines and housemade wines, wine slushies, and sangrias.

Location: The Villas & Casa at Gervasi Vineyard, 1700 55th St NE, Canton, OH 44721

Romantic Treehouses in Glenmont, Ohio

Have you ever thought about staying in a treehouse? The Mohican is a secluded resort with nine one-of-a-kind rustic treehouses. Each has spacious living, luxurious king or queen bedding, indoor toilets, relaxing forest views, showers, and personal fire pits.

The Moonlight Treehouse has a cozy interior with soft fabrics and an incredible deck. The Little Red Treehouse, designed by “Treehouse Masters” Pete Nelson, has a wraparound deck and beautiful stained glass. Or maybe you prefer a charming walk on a swaying bridge and an idyllic climb up a spiral staircase. If that’s the case, the Tin Shed Treehouse might be right for you.

The Mohican is a quiet, relaxing, remote, and secluded getaway in the woods. The resort is rustic with modern touches, but they do not have onsite wineries or food options. The nearest wineries are Indian Bear and Sunny Slope. There are several state parks in the area and nearby hiking.

Location: The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue, 23164 Vess Rd, Glenmont, OH 44628

Surrounded by Hocking Hills State Park, the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls offers 75 acres of luxurious accommodations and experiences. The bed and breakfast includes 1840s-style cabins, Pacific-style yurts, geodomes, and cottages.

Maybe it was constructed in 1996, but Ravenwood Castle is all about charm and medieval flair. Here you can completely unplug and enjoy hiking the scenic Hocking Hills or maybe a little murder mystery, castle scavenger hunts, or some tabletop games.

While here, you might want to enjoy full buffet-style dinners in the Great Hall or lighter dinner fare at Raven’s Roost Pub. Sit by the fire at the pub while playing board games and sipping on fine wine, mixed drinks, or craft beers.

At Ravenwood Castle, you can choose from staying in suites in the castle, village cottages, or Huntsman’s Hollow Cabins. Here they get into the spirit of medieval life with rooms like “Rapunzel’s Tower,” “Cinderella’s Coach House,” and “The Clock Tower.” Since it’s a romantic getaway, you might want to skip “Spinster’s Cottage.”
