Is It Safe to Stay at French Quarter RV Resort?

Staying in an urban campground always raises the question of safety. When you’re that close to the inner city, you can be anxious about how secure your belongings are when you leave your RV and how safe you are when sleeping.

But the French Quarter RV Resort has certainly considered these things and established a very safe campground. There is a fence and security on-property. In fact, one guest commented about this: “Tall fences and constant security patrolling 24 hours. The park is a short walk to the French Quarter and we never felt unsafe. The police station is nearby and you pass on your walk.”

About French Quarter RV Resort

If you’re looking to stay near New Orleans, the French Quarter RV Resort is really your only option. If you want cheaper accommodations, you’ll have to stay farther out and drive into the city, adding up parking fees and fuel prices over several days. Plus, the added time and inconvenience may not be worth the savings.

At the French Quarter RV Resort, guests stay on well-maintained concrete pads and have access to lots of amenities. If you want to take a break from visiting New Orleans for a day, relax by the pool and grab a drink at the bar.

Types of Campsites

As mentioned earlier, there are standard, deluxe, and premium sites at the French Quarter RV Resort. The standard sites will be closer to the interstate. Deluxe sites are closer to the campground amenities, and the premium sites are privately owned.

They are farthest from the interstate and closest to the lobby and amenities. There are 52 total paved sites that have 20/30/50 amp service, 72 cable channels, and water and sewer hook-ups.

Amenities

When guests stay at the French Quarter RV Resort, they have access to the fitness room, laundry facility, business office with computers, pool, hot tub, and gazebo with bar facilities. There is also an ATM in the lobby for convenient withdrawals.

But although these amenities are available, most guests spend the majority of their time taking advantage of the proximity to the French Quarter.

What Are French Quarter RV Resort Guests Saying?

One recent guest wrote about how the convenience of the French Quarter RV Park makes the cost well worth it on Google: “It is the only place I would want to stay because of its convenience, and it is a very nice and safe location.

Keep in mind that parking lots in N.O. are very expensive and street parking is hard to find. Being able to get out of the RV and walk everywhere is convenient, saves time, and money since you don’t have to get out a car and pay to park. To me these advantages make the cost worthwhile. I would definitely return here on future visits.”

Another Google reviewer mentioned how safe the location was with the security and gated surroundings: “Brick and concrete, fairly level sites. Well taken care of with fence, gate and night guard for security. Walking distance to the quarter. Nice amenities with pool, hot tub, laundry and showers (although we didn’t use them). Will definitely stay here again.” On Google, guests rate the French Quarter RV Park 4.4/5 stars.
