Does Jeep Make a Pink Wrangler?

If you see a pink Jeep Wrangler, you might think that you’re hallucinating. Has your imagination run wild? Maybe it’s some one-off custom mod. Jeeps usually aren’t so vibrant, are they?

This warrants a closer look. Could these flashy Jeeps possibly be real? And more importantly, can we get one for ourselves? Let’s find out!

Do Jeep Wranglers Come in Pink?

The pink Jeep Wrangler is genuine and has been around since 2021. It was supposed to be a limited run for one year but was too hot to drop. Pink is one of several new, funky colors the automotive company offers. It seems to be Jeep’s way of loosening up and moving with the times after 80 years in business.

How Many Pink Jeeps Were Made?

These rosy-hued Jeeps are the Tuscadero, in tribute to a memorable television character from the 1970s. If you don’t remember, Pinky Tuscadero was the tough-talking love interest of Fonzie on the “Happy Days” sitcom. Like the Fonz, she was a mechanic who loved motorcycles. She was even a daredevil stunt rider.

Jeep’s hot-pink option took off right away. According to an article by MotorTrend, there were nearly 30,000 orders for them in the first few months.

Can I Still Order a Tuscadero Pink Jeep?

Company officials were so blown away by the response that they decided to continue producing the Tuscadero model in 2022. That means that you can order directly from Jeep. We don’t know how long the pink Jeep Wrangler fever will continue, but we figure they’ll roll them out if there’s a demand. The company typically cycles through its color options every few years to keep things fresh.

How Much Is a Pink Jeep Wrangler?

A pink Jeep starts at just over $30,000, but the price climbs as you check different options. The Jeep Wrangler’s suggested base retail price is $29,995. Opting for the pink color scheme carries an additional charge of $395. It’s crucial to note that this figure doesn’t include other costs like destination fees and dealership markups. You may shop around and get a slightly better deal or find a gently used one that’s no more than a year old.

Besides the standard Wrangler (two-door or four), the Tuscadero package is also available with the Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe, and 392. Some are incredibly robust vehicles with ample towing power. The base model has a 3.6L engine with 285 hp and 260 lb-ft torque. An upgrade to a turbo four-cylinder engine has 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.

A turbo diesel model with a V6 offers 442 lb-ft of torque. The 4xe has the assistance of an electric motor, and it promises up to 49 MPG. You could call the beastlike Rubicon 392 a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Imagine driving a pink Jeep Wrangler with a powerful 6.4L V8 under the hood! It provides an astounding 470 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.

Jeep makes a few limited edition colors every few years.

While most cars and trucks these days are black, white, gray, or silver, Jeep is keeping things lively. Tuscadero pink isn’t their only unusual color. Others include Firecracker Red, Hella Yella, Hydro Blue, Nacho, and Snazzberry. Still, the most popular Jeep color is much more traditional and sedate. Bright White usually leads the pack. That’s why company officials were shocked when they had so many orders for the Tuscadero pink Jeep Wrangler.

What Is the Rarest Jeep Wrangler Color?

Many Jeep colors have come and gone. Brown and other earthy tones used to be in demand, but you don’t see them as much anymore. Jeep may never do away with its Army-inspired Sarge Green, but it’s been making aggressive color strides in recent years.

A limited-edition color released in 2021 had a short but striking run. That was Gecko, a bright shade of green which conjured a particular celebrity lizard associated with car insurance. It may be the rarest Jeep Wrangler color of all. You may not see it often, but you’ll remember it!

Will a Pink Jeep Wrangler Be Your Next 4×4?

To borrow a line from the Beatles, the new pink Jeep Wranglers are “guaranteed to raise a smile.” Driving one is a way of spreading joy wherever you go, on the roads and off. If that’s something you want to do full time, there may be a pink Jeep with your name on it.
