Can You Stay at a Motorhome Only Resort?

A motorhome-only resort is exclusive, but can your RV get in? That’s what we unravel in this article.

Keep reading to learn exactly what a motorhome-only resort is and what they offer. And we reveal who can and can’t reserve a campsite at these resorts. We also share the best motorcoach RV resorts in the United States.

Let’s dive in!

What Is a Motorhome-Only Resort?

A motorhome-only resort is an RV park that allows certain classes of RVs and excludes others. Most require RVs to be Class A or luxury coaches.

The private resorts are high-end and pricey. Some allow you to purchase your site and rent it out when it’s not in use. So, most motorhome-only resorts do offer nightly stays to some extent.

What Do Class A RV Resorts Offer?

Class A resorts offer luxury amenities such as resort-style swimming pools, recreational activities, and entertainment. Lots at motorhome-only resorts usually have a hard surface with well-manicured landscaping.

And more often than not, the sites have some privacy and include a casita or a storage unit.

Can a Class C RV Stay at a Motorhome Only Resort?

It’s rare to find a motorhome-only resort that allows Class C RVs. Class C motorhomes have an over-the-cab area and look like an RV attached to a chassis.

Typically, these high-end resorts strictly reserve sites for Class A motorhomes and luxury coaches such as a Prevost.

Many consider Class As as high-end RVs, which typically bring a certain type of RVer to the resort. It’s an exclusive club that keeps the look and feel of the resort consistent.
