A tire plug is a rubber device used to repair punctures and maintain air pressure, allowing the wheel to reach its full lifespan.
Plugging a flat tire should only be attempted when the hole is less than 18" wide and the puncture is in the tread section. If the puncture is too large, it could cause a risky situation.
When in doubt, it's best to replace the tire, as safety is more important than convenience.
