InTech Sol | Small Trailer with Big Views
The inTech Sol travel trailer is a head-turner. With a huge front window, panoramic views from inside are a main attraction. The 2020 model features new RV technology and classic components.
The MSRP is around $36,000.
Today we’ll be exploring all the specs and features of this light weight unit. You can also join us on a virtual tour below.
Let’s dive in!
InTech Sol Size Specs
This tiny trailer packs a big punch. Its welded aluminum frame creates great structural integrity without the weight (or corrosive properties) of steel. Here’s the key specs:
- Overall Height – 9′ 6″
- Interior Height – 6′ 6″
- Overall Length – 19′
- Ground Clearance – 12″
With an interior height of 6′ 6″, almost anyone can fit inside without hitting their head. However, the exterior height is still low enough to make travel days pretty easy. We use RV Trip Wizard to make sure we won’t come across any low hanging underpasses.
- Dry Weight: 3,290 – 3,375lbs
- Tongue Weight: 3,290 – 3,375lbs
- GVWR: 3,900lbs
- Net Carrying Capacity: 525 – 610lbs
- Fresh Tank: 28 Gal
- Grey/Black Combo Tank: 31 Gal
Many standard SUVs have the capability to tow the inTech Sol. The Dexter Torsion axel (used on Airstreams for decades) create a smoother ride than traditional leaf spring axels. There’s even a rear hitch receiver for adding a bike rack.
The inTech Sol’s interior is much larger than we were expecting. Most notably, the separate dinette and bed area means you’ll never have to convert your space for sleeping.
- Bed Size: 60”x80”
- Dinett Size: 48”x80”
Storage is also pretty great with the inTech Sol. It gives you (6) Drawers, (7) Overhead Cabinets, and (4) Overhead Cubbies. The blue-toned inset lighting in the overhead storage area creates an awesome vibe.
The interior appliances include: an AC (13.5K BTU), MaxxAir Vent Fan, Bluetooth Stereo w/(2) Speakers & TV Prep, a 16 BTU furnace, and a 6 Gal electric or gas water heater.
inTech Sol Kitchen
InTech has designed a kitchen that gives you a lot of options, but leaves out an oven. They replace it with a microwave – depending on your cooking style this could be a pro or a con.
Here’s what the kitchen features:
- Refrigerator: 3.7 Cu Ft 3-Way
- Sink: Large Farmhouse Style w/ Brushed Nickel Commercial Style
- Cooktop: 2 Burner Stainless Steel
- Microwave: 1 Cu Ft Stainless Steel
inTech Sol Bathroom Specs
In any trailer of this size, the bathroom isn’t expected to be large. This is your standard wet bath. However, because the trailer height it 6’6″, the bathroom feels much bigger. A large skylight helps with that, too.
- Toilet: Porcelain Toilet
- Walls: Aluminum Walls with Sealing Exterior Door
- Ventilation: Roof Vent with Onboard Switch
- Storage: Mess Shower Storage Net / 2 Towel Hooks
Overall Vibes of the inTech Sol
If you’re in the market for a stylish trailer on the small end of the spectrum, the inTech Sol is a great option. It’s comparable to the Airstream Nest in size & style, but costs about $10,000 less.
The front panoramic window is a huge selling point…especially if you love boondocking!
