5 YouTubers Reveal KFC Fire Log Bad Reviews

5 YouTubers Reveal KFC Fire Log Bad Reviews

It’s fair to say 2020 has been an eventful year. Virtually every IRL event turned into a Zoom call. Social distancing became the newest dictionary term. And, best of all, the KFC Fire Log hit the shelves of your local Walmart.

But, it’s actually not too easy getting your hands on this scented log.

Thankfully, many famous YouTubers have published informative (and at times entertaining) reviews.

What is the KFC Fire Log?

The KFC Fire Log is a traditional starter-log, but with a lot more taste…well, more like, scent.

According to the product description, it can burn up to 2.5 – 3 hours. Once it’s ablaze, you’ll be able to smell KFC’s 11 herbs and spices.

And, the instructions are super simple:

  1. Simply loosen the wrapper from the firelog.
  2. Place the log on the grate seam up.
  3. Tear open the seam to expose the firelog and light the wrapper at both ends.

Here’s a link to the KFC Fire Log (if it’s in stock).

Now let’s hear what these professional unboxers discovers upon lighting.

Jimmy Kimmel Rips It With Humor

In typical late-night fashion, Kimmel delivers his review with crass wit. But, first, he shares a little sticker shock. The log is $18 (and more from resellers)!

Kimmel sums it up with this quote:

“If I wanted a log that smelled like fried chicken, I’d just eat a bucket of KFC and wait.”

Blind Smell Test Between Chicken & Log

The YouTube channel Tailgating Challenge put the log to an actual smell test.

They order fresh chicken and blindfold themselves as they smell back to back. Surprisingly, one of the testers thought the log was real KFC chicken.

Once they light the log, these guys admit the smell isn’t powerful.

“Lamest Fire Log Ever”

The review is as harsh as they come. None of the spices could be smelled by Serious Keto.

He thought it was like getting a lousy toy as a kid.

RV YouTubers Unimpressed

Popular RV YouTubers, RV Miles, didn’t like it at all. In fact, they said, “it’s making my eyes burn, it smells so bad.”

They’d rather spend $20 on a KFC family dinner.

RV Miles ends the video by saying, “I don’t even want to stand around the campfire.”

Christmas Gift KFC Fire Log Review

Running Kimono, a smaller YouTube channel, got this log for a present. At first, they were impressed by the smell.

Upon lighting it, they say they really don’t smell it.

It appears the package smelled more than the log. An hour after lighting, still no scent is to be smelled.

Shopper Reviews Are Harsh, too

If you don’t trust these YouTubers, maybe an online shopper review can convince you. Here are snippets of some of the best we found.

“If I could give zero stars I would. What a waste of money. Between 20 people, no one smelled the 11 herbs and spices as advertised.”

“I cannot emphasize enough of how much of a waste of money this was”

“Junk. Not worth any money.”
