Built on top-of-the-line chassis, four sizes are available to suit your needs. Lengths range from 35 to 43 feet. Between those two are a 38 and 40-footer that offers plenty of room to stretch out.
According to the manufacturer, you can get any of them built on a Freightliner or Spartan platform. The force behind these beasts are powerful Cummins L9 diesel engines. Depending on the chassis, they’ll range from 380 to 400 horsepower.
All new cockpit dash designs incorporate features that provide heads-up displays of important information. They also include Apple CarPlay for seamless connection with apps and navigation. And, if you need extra space, there’s an optional drop-down bunk above the captain’s chairs.
Designers brought their A-game when creating the entertainment centers for this coach. You’ll get an integrated 4k LED television, Harman/JBL sound system, and wiring for high-definition components at no additional cost.
You won’t sacrifice any of the comforts of home in this rig. Standard couches can be replaced with recliners for ultimate lounging. Nearby, the kitchen features solid-surface countertops and an induction stove. Some models also have a main bedroom bathroom and a second half-bath for guests.
Clearly, the 2024 Newmar Ventana aims to please the most discriminating RVers. Prices for the different models range from $442,000 to nearly $1 million.
Who Owns Newmar?
Newmar began operations in 1968 when Mahlon Miller and Marvin Newcomer opened up shop. Together, they started their business in Nappanee, Indiana, a town known for high-quality woodwork.
Their first model, the Kontry Aire fifth wheel, hit the highway in 1971. Since the beginning, Newmar’s dedication to quality and innovation has been unmatched by competitors.
They focused on building what their customers wanted rather than their perfect vision. And customers rewarded them by purchasing their products throughout the 1970s.
According to the company’s website, Miller proposed building Class A motor coaches alongside fifth wheels. Although It took some convincing, they eventually made the shift.
One of the primary reasons they changed their focus as a company was to put more effort into quality construction. With a solid team of engineers and craftspeople, they set a new standard for the Class A segment. The Dutch Star and Mountain Aire debuted in 1990 and are still in production today.
Winnebago recognized the value Newmar added to the market and acquired it in 2019 for $344 million. Don’t worry, though. They’re still in Indiana, creating the luxury RVs you’ve come to expect.
Does the 2024 Ventana Offer New Floor Plans?
Four new floor plans make the 2024 Ventana a unique option. The 35 and 38-foot models also feature contemporary designs that make the most of the square footage.
The two new layouts in the 35-foot configuration provide ample space in the rig’s four slideouts. In the 3507, the design focuses on maximizing living space. With a king-sized bed and hide-a-bed, the rest of the area is all about comfort.
In addition, this model includes optional stackable washer and dryer hookups, a gorgeous shower, and a chef-friendly kitchen.
The 3512 has many of the same amenities but adds more beds for family travel. A convertible dinette booth and optional drop-down mattress over the cockpit add sleeping space for up to six more people.
With the 38-foot length, the 3809 and 3817 models offer many similar perks. The first is geared more towards travelers without a whole crew on board. A private bath and space for entertaining make it a perfect companion for a couple on the move.
In the 3817, the wet bath is more centrally located and provides easy access for a family. A double pantry and ample sleeping space make it ideal for long-term travel.
Is the Newmar Ventana a Quality RV?
When the company began production in 1971, its focus was explicitly on making quality trailers. Instead of quickly creating many lower-end products, they spend more time putting out fewer but better RVs.
