Throughout November, Orlando’s festival scene will be firing up. There’s a party happening everywhere you look.
If you haven’t already bought tickets, you better act fast.

The Orlando Beer Festival Features Beer, Music, and Games
Orlando’s largest beer festival will occur on the first Saturday in November. More than 50 breweries, ranging from local staples to national names, will serve over 200 types of beer, seltzer, cider, and other intoxicating beverages.
But it’s not all about the booze. Live music takes the stage all day long. You can play interactive carnival games, watch college football on the Jumbotron, and shop for goodies from a range of artisans. There’s also a Food Truck Zone with ten options to choose from.
While general admission begins at 2 p.m., VIP ticket holders can enter at noon. And you’ll want to arrive early. Many vendors have limited supplies, so unique brews often sell out quickly.
In addition to early entry, VIP attendees have access to a deluxe seating area, restrooms, free food tastings, a 2003 event t-shirt, and a commemorative glass, among other perks.
Tickets start at $55 for general admission and $90 for VIP. However, folks who aren’t drinking can enjoy all the other fun for just $35. And proceeds support the Central Florida’s Brewers Guild and the Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation, so it’s all for a good cause.
Be aware that while on-leash pets are welcome, you’ll have to leave your kids with the sitter.
EDC Orlando Brings Together Music, Art, and Rides
The following weekend, from November 10th to 12th, the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will take over the city. This celebration of art, music, and life generally takes Orlando’s festival scene to the extreme.
Organizers ensure that EDC blends nature and technology in innovative ways. Massive superstructures pop up all over Tinker Field. At night, they glow in neon colors and practically come to life.
Five stages each feature unique vibes, distinctive sounds, and one-of-a-kind artists.
The kineticFIELD hosts the biggest names. This enormous grandstand changes every year, offering a new theme. circuitGROUNDS was made for dancing. At neonGARDEN, electric light and techno beats will wash over you. House music and trance take place at stereoBLOOM. Finally, the Wide Awake Art Car boasts flame cannons and a steampunk aesthetic.
When you’re not getting lost in the beat, you can hit one of the bars for a drink. Food stations are located throughout the grounds and include vegan and vegetarian options. And, of course, rides and Ferris wheels are integral to any carnival!
Battery-charging stations, free water refill zones, and info tents mean you’ll have everything you need. Stop by the General Store to grab any items you forgot at home without returning to the real world.
Tickets for this otherworldly experience start around $220. If you ask us, that’s a small price to pay for three days of magic.
The Orlando Home Bass Festival Takes Over a Resort During EDC
The Home Bass Festival comes to town the same weekend as EDC. Before you get bummed that you have to decide between the two, know that you don’t have to choose. In fact, organizers anticipated folks attending both, so shuttles will run from one to the other.
Home Bass is changing the game for music events. Instead of letting folks figure out lodging on their own, they put all the fun in one convenient location. Ravers can book rooms at the Wyndham Orlando Resort and have a five-day party without ever leaving the venue. Best of all, you won’t have to worry about keeping the noise down late at night.
After all, the whole point is to keep the party going!
Big names take the stage in the conference room. Other acts play poolside or at one of the daily after-parties. You might even stumble upon rogue DJs spinning sets.
This event lasts from Thursday the 9th to Monday the 13th. To make the most of both, hit EDM sets at the Wyndham on Thursday and Monday, catch the big names at Tinker Field over the weekend, and then return to the resort for after-hours shows every night.
But if that’s too much action, rest assured that you won’t miss out on a good time if you only attend Home Bass.
Hotel packages start at around $1,400. However, if you already have a place to crash, you can buy weekend passes for $300 or single-day pool-party admission for $10.
Other Fun Things To Do Near the Downtown Orlando Festivals
If you can’t make it to Orlando on one of these festival weekends, there are still plenty of reasons to make a trip. Here are a couple of destinations that are open year-round.

Lake Eola Park is a little slice of heaven in the heart of the city. The path circling the water is just shy of one mile and makes for a leisurely stroll. You can rent a swan boat for a romantic paddle or watch the real swans putter around the pond.
The grounds are a major Orlando venue, often hosting festivals, yoga classes, and 5k races. You might see an outdoor movie at the Walk Disney Amphitheater or simply admire the scenery.
