Three Travel & Adventure Shows to Hit
The 2024 season marks the 20th year of Travel and Adventure Shows. With nine expos across the country, you can probably find one to attend. But today, we’ll focus on three happening in February and March.
Phoenix, Arizona
The Travel and Adventure Show descends upon Phoenix, Arizona, on February 17th and 18th. You can join in the fun at the Phoenix Convention Center starting at 10AM on Saturday.
Here, you can chat with the folks from Poseidon Expeditions about a cruise through the chilly waters of Alaska. On the other hand, you can plan an African wildlife tour with Blue Crane Safaris out of Namibia. Or, learn about your liveaboard options off the coast of Indonesia with Subculture Travel.
This event features over 30 expert speakers throughout the weekend. Pauline Frommer of Frommer’s Guidebooks will give a talk about discount travel tips. In similar fashion, CBS News travel editor Peter Greenberg will speak about embracing life on the road.
The Wanderful booth will be giving away a spot for their Mexico City Global Meetup for women who love to travel, a deal worth over $600. Further, you can stop by the ToursByLocals table for a chance to win a $300 voucher for any of their private excursions in 178 countries.
If you’re not local, consider staying at the Hilton Garden Inn or the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix. By booking a room at one of these spots, you can walk to the venue in under ten minutes. As a result, you won’t have to deal with parking!

Atlanta, Georgia
March 9th and 10th, the Travel and Adventure Show will take place at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Visit the PADI Dive Pavillion to learn about SCUBA diving, snorkeling, and paddle-boarding opportunities. Stop by the Alaska Land and Sea Adventure booth for a photo-op in the Last Frontier. Their green screen allows you to see yourself, literally, in destinations around the northernmost state.
Although organizers haven’t published the complete list of exhibitors, you can bet it’ll feature plenty of folks you’ll want to talk to.
Once again, Peter Greenberg is a keynote speaker. Others include travel writer Andrew McCarthy, Green Book Experience’s CEO Karin Aaron, and TV host Denella Ri’Chard, with more to be announced.

Dallas Market Hall will host the Travel and Adventure Show in the Lone Star State on March 23rd and 24th. As of publication, organizers haven’t released all the exhibitors, but we do have a few insights into the event.
Peter Greenberg, Pauline Frommer, and Andrew McCarthy will be back on stage. You can also catch speakers like Markham McGill of the Florida Keys and David Jackson with Green Book Experience.
