Hey, fam, things got wild in Vancouver the other night.
So, there’s this suspect, Andrew R. Roberts, who totally went off the rails. Imagine this: It’s a chill Tuesday night, and two guys start beefing in a parking lot on Northeast Leroy Haagen Memorial Drive.
Instead of squashing the beef, Roberts jumps into his RV, hits the gas, and runs over the other guy. Yeah, you heard me right, with an RV!
The cops got the call about this “physical disturbance” around 9:20 p.m., and by the time they arrived, the scene was chaos. The victim, bless his soul, got rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he didn’t make it.
Roberts didn’t get far, though.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Vancouver police were on it like white on rice. They tracked him down near Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard and 162nd Avenue. After that, he chilled in Clark County Jail with vehicular homicide charges hanging over his head.
He’s set to face the judge at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Here’s the kicker – this wasn’t the first fatal hit-and-run in VanCity this week. Just two days earlier, another tragedy went down when a woman allegedly mowed down a man sitting under a tree and then bounced from the scene.
The vibes in Vancouver are definitely off this week, y’all.
