It’s Special – Mountain Valley RV Resort – Heber City, Utah

So, let’s talk about Mountain Valley RV Resort in Heber City, Utah. After bouncing around a few more rustic campsites, we decided to switch things up and treat ourselves to a little luxury.

Enter Mountain Valley RV Resort—where the amenities are top-notch, and the views are straight out of a postcard.

Nestled in the heart of Heber Valley, this spot has it all: paved sites, pristine facilities, and plenty of space to spread out. It’s definitely not the rugged, off-grid camping we’re used to, but sometimes, you’ve just gotta live a little.

Plus, with the Wasatch Mountains in the backdrop, you still feel connected to nature—just with a few more perks.

The Scoop on Mountain Valley RV Resort

Mountain Valley RV Resort is more than just a place to park your rig—it’s a full-on glamping experience. The sites are huge, with paved pads and full hookups, including 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer.

They’ve got everything you could need: free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and even picnic tables at each spot for those evenings when you want to fire up the grill.

The resort’s facilities are spotless, from the bathhouses to the laundry rooms, and there’s even a clubhouse if you feel like hanging out with fellow travelers. For a little extra relaxation, there are two swimming pools, hot tubs, and a fitness center.

And if you’ve got kids in tow, they’ll love the playgrounds and game rooms.

Our Personal Experience at Mountain Valley RV Resort

Location: Heber City, Utah

GPS40.4814, -111.4019

Date / Temp: We camped here for four nights in late August. The daytime temps were in the high 80s, and nights were in the 50s. We got no rain during our visit – just blue skies with pretty clouds.

Amenities: This park offers more amenities than we can list! Our site was a back-in with full hookups, but most sites are concrete pull-throughs. Our favorite amenity was the 21+ pool & hot tub… in fact, the whole “Phase Two” section of the Resort it 21+. Phase One also offers a family-friendly pool, hot tub, playground, and basketball courts.

The bathrooms are pristine.

Wifi / Cell: We received 4G LTE with both AT&T and T-Mobile. The park offers complimentary wifi with speeds of 3MBps up & down at the time.

Noise: This resort is pretty popular, and most sites are occupied. During the weekend, there was noise from kids playing and families gathering. We were never bothered by the noise, but we assume Phase Two stays quieter.

Grocery / Errands: Downtown Heber City is only a mile away and offers everything we need for essential errands. There’s a Walmart, Smith’s, restaurants, and locally owned retailers.

We enjoyed the Thursday evening Farmers Market, as well!

Dog Friendly: Mountain Valley Resort is dog friendly – in fact, they have a HUGE dog park and many doggy waste stations located throughout.

Entertainment: We loved the hiking located nearby. We explored the waterfall trail in Sundance and hiked Mirror Lake in the national forest.

There’s a lot of entertainment in Park City & Salt Lake City, both a short drive away. We barely made a dent in exploring the area!

Would We Visit Mountain Valley RV Resort Again?

Oh, 100%! Mountain Valley RV Resort is the kind of place that spoils you, and let’s be real—it’s hard to say no to that mix of luxury and nature. While we don’t plan on swinging through Heber City on every trip, if we’re ever in the area again, we’d definitely make it a point to stay here.

It’s one of those places that feels like a little slice of RV heaven, and we’re all about that balance of comfort and adventure.
