Other Specs and Features

The 2022 Ford F-150 is highly functional and powerful with hybrid options and innovative technology. It has off-road packages to get you off-grid farther and longer, including features like an onboard generator. In addition, it offers the option of a BlueCruise hands-free driving system.

Functional features of the F-150 include a tailgate that’s built tough to serve as a workbench. There’s even a cup holder and place to put a phone. On the interior, Ford has included lockable rear seat storage that’s integrated with the floor.

We also love the comfort and modern look the 2022 models have. Having a comfortable ride while towing an RV is critical, in our opinion. You can drive safely and comfortably, all while listening to your favorite podcasts.

What Trim Level Has the Max Towing Capacity?

Any trim level that allows for the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine option will pull the most weight. This engine can tow a maximum of 14,000 lbs.

In addition to towing, you may want to consider off-road capabilities as well, depending on where you plan to RV. You can get the Raptor trim level with the high-output EcoBoost V6 engine, off-road shocks, electronic locking rear differential, all-terrain tires, and a terrain management system for off-road drive modes.
