#1 Salem Farms Campground in Connecticut
If you find yourself near Salem, Connecticut, don’t miss the chance to stay at Salem Farms Campground. This isn’t you’re typical RV lot. It’s situated on 157 acres of rural farmland and offers amenities like a petting zoo, mini-golf, and tennis courts.
RVers can take a dip in one of two swimming pools on the property. Afterwards, they may follow one of the many nature trails to a secluded fishing hole.
From summer to fall, the calendar is full of activities. Visitors can participate in ceramics classes, enjoy drive-in movies, or watch a chainsaw-carving demonstration.
A week-long “Christmas in July” celebration allows children to meet Santa Claus. And the following week, visitors can stay up late the next week to watch the “New Year’s” ball drop.

#2 Acadia National Park in Maine

#3 Prospect Mountain Campground in Massachusetts
