On Thursday night, October 5, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at a popular Thousand Trails RV Resort in Clackamas County, Oregon.
Somebody made a domestic disturbance call around 7:45 pm at Mount Hood Village RV Resort.
According to the local news, “The sheriff’s office said a man was found dead in front of a trailer, and a woman was found injured inside of the trailer. Both had apparent gunshot wounds.”
A third man was on the scene and is cooperating in the investigation. Names and further details have yet to be released.
On the Mount Hood Village RV Resort Facebook page, it’s business as usual without mentioning the incident—only beautiful pictures and fall-camping marketing.
Additionally, the Thousand Trails YouTube Page titled the Mount Hood Village RV Resort as the “Best Campground Near Portland.”
