ModVans on Ford Transit 4×4

What happens when you combine modular design and van life? ModVans, of course! These beautiful Ford Transit van conversions can take you way off road and give you plenty of room to relax.

Today we’ll be diving deep into the specs and features of ModVans van conversions. We’ll also show you how their pricing works!

How Much do ModVans Cost?

There’s a few ways to go about pricing with ModVans. Firstly (and most basic), you can purchase the ModVan CV1 base unit for $78,475.

Secondly (and much more fun), you can use their interactive price menu to add on different features. It allows you to build out your own custom van.

ModVans also breaks down unique RV financing vs regular vehicle financing. Below is a screen shot from their website show how this works. If you want to learn more, here’s the ModVans price comparison page.

We’ve got a ModVan and love it, two of us. It’s a 4X2, 300 watt solar panel, large battery, EcoBoost engine, composting toilet. Drives like a dream. You caught the functionality of the vehicle. Sleep up top on 5 inches of foam with the fresh air and the views.. . This year: 13,000 miles, cross-country and back (to SoCal), Pacific NW and back, NM & rtn, 46 great campsites, no generator, no plug-in, off the grid. The big guys can have their parking lot with FHU down by the entrance, we’re out back at the no-frills scenic small-pad tent sites. All this with great performance up hill and down at 17+ mpg and park almost anywhere, what’s not to like!

  2. Greg Chick says:

17 mpg. really, I got the power stroke diesel and only get 17.7 when I keep a light foot. I was told I could get 20 mpg. Is anyone getting more on a diesel? The Eco Boost motor however did cost extra, like the Power stroke?

  3. Don Bacon says:

    yes
