Price:  $12 to $24

Miles to Downtown:  20 miles

Why You’ll Love It:  Jump into the natural spring at Lithia Springs Park and you can luxuriate in the healing 72-degree waters for your entire camping visit. 

But if you’d enjoy a little nightlife, daytime shopping, museum excursions, and outdoor adventures, you are just minutes from Tampa’s offerings. 

Nature explorers will also like the variety of hardwood forest hikes and swamps close to the campground.  With 45 campsites equipped with electricity and water, the park is a popular destination, so get there early, as all sites are first-come, first-serve.

Stick around for RV shows, concerts, etc. and take a break mid-afternoon for a nap, or head to your rig for a home-cooked meal in the midst of the state fair!

Price:  $18 to $24

Miles to Downtown:  24 miles

Why You’ll Love It:  Outdoor enthusiasts will love the mangrove trees, swamps, and birds they attract at this lovely campground.  Take a kayak or canoe through the winding waterways just off Tampa Bay, or head to the beach, located right within the park. 

Each site has water and electricity, and the campground comes complete with a fishing pier, two playgrounds, and a bathhouse.  Everything is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and weekends the campground fills up quickly.
